Dandy Farms is located in beautiful Wood County, Texas. While our address says Mineola, we are actually located in the tiny, proud community of Hainesville. Metroplex escapees, we find the slower paced life of the country just right. Just two hours East of Dallas, we frequently venture “to town” when we get a yearning for big city life. Mostly, though, we don’t venture farther than the surrounding towns of Mineola, Quitman, or Hawkins where everyone is still welcomed with a friendly smile and warm handshake. 

Grassy meadows and lovely pine and hardwood forests surround the farmhouse we are restoring, as well as our state of the art commercial kitchen. A huge, wonderful old barn houses our dairy goats and our chickens enjoy roaming the meadow outside their coop. Two livestock dogs and an Australian Sheppard keep everyone safe while our cat keeps us entertained.
